I write Spanish-language short stories for English speakers learning Spanish, graded across CEFR A1 through B2, themed around the real-life situations adult learners actually find themselves in: decluttering, mindfulness, building habits, traveling, caring for their health, work and money, and the language of human relationships.
Every book is a small library of short, complete stories, each with a vocabulary list, comprehension questions, and an answer key. The goal isn't to teach you Spanish. It's to put you inside Spanish, gently, for ten or fifteen minutes a day, until you can stay there.
If you've tried Duolingo and bounced off it. If you've sat through a community-college class and felt more confused at the end. If you've watched telenovelas and wished they came with subtitles your brain could actually keep up with, this is the bridge.
There's a smaller shelf too. The Adventures of Kiki el Mono are rhyming picture books in English and Spanish for children 2 to 5, built from the bedtime stories my father made up for me every night.
